The picture above and to the right show the Coolah in
comparison to the factory heat exchanger and mounted in the
original location. Note that the water fittings are in exactly the
same location and there is plenty of clearance room for the Fan
Module Upgrade
If you are modifying your 2003+ Cobra Mustang we have the right performance part for you! This all new Coolah as we call it, is the highest efficiency heat exchanger you can buy for your car. Recognized by many for our technical excellence, our development 2003 Cobra was awarded the Turbo & High Tech Magazines Editor's Choice Award at  Fun Ford Weekend in Houston, Texas. On display for many to see, our engineering stood alone for quality, innovation, and performance.

In building a 2003 Cobra for performance gains, most do not realize the true performance value of our heat exchanger versus the factory or other offerings. The factory radiator is mere a tube in fin design. Worse yet, it is painted which diminishes its thermal efficiency. The factory heat exchanger can only transfer the heat from the water that passes through the tubes. These tubes are small and offer no internal transfer agent. Therfore, the only surface area touching the water is the tube itself and it has been fully painted, further hurting its btu transfer ability.

Proven! Our heat exchanger, dubbed the
Coolah shows water inlet temps to the supercharger's aftercooler of 125-140 degree under full boost on a 90 degree, high humidity day. This is using a 6#  lower and 2.8 upper pulley combination with a Metco idler. Boost peaks at 18-20 with a steady 16-17 psi under full load.

On our core, each quarter inch tube has fins on the INSIDE and OUTSIDE of each tube!! That means, the water passing through the tube is transferring heat directly to the tube and the tube directly to the outside fins. This is the highest efficiency heat exchanger made, bar none. Its also much more costly to produce.

Our offering to the market is not as high as the Vortech centrifugal aftercooler at $1200.00, but is not be as cheap as the factory unit. We offer a very reasonable part with a great performance value for drag and road racers or those who just want the best for their 2003 Cobra.

I offer the
Coolah with and without the extra cooling fan kit. The base Coolah comes complete with instructions, photos, supplemental mounting brackets and the fasteners needed to mount it. If at anytime you want to upgrade to the fan module, you can do so without having to purchase a different Coolah. The cost for the CoolahKit will be $850.00 complete. The upgrade fan module will be an additional $225.00 and will bolt on with no modifications needed.

The fan module consists of two swept blade very high flow 600cfm fans. In light, these things really suck!! Also included is a complete wiring harness and relay to connect the fan module to the intercooler pump. This will allow automatic control of the
Coolah fans without the need of flipping a switch. You can also install a temperature sending unit to the Coolah so that you can monitor its efficiency or the inlet temp from the supercharger's aftercooler.

Purchasing the
Coolah complete with fans will save a few dollars as we can assemble the fans onto
the
Coolah and ship it that way for a savings

If you want to purchase a Coolah for your Cobra, we will be happy to do so.  Note that we do not stock any of the parts for this assembly and will take up to two weeks for delivery.  Each part is custom made to order, so we apologize for any inconvienience this may be.  Be assured that of all the modifications we performed, none made such a significant contribution to the complete package as having this reliability of not overtemping the supercharger's boost.
Below are some of the pics of the Cobra before the roll cage was installed.  I will have those pics up as soon as I can find the disc.  LOL!!

The final output was 605rwhp & 740 lbft of torque.  All this on the stock shotblock with lots of boost and programming.  All custom parts were made in-house and chrome finishing was done locally here in Houston.
Hope you enjoyed the pics and stay tuned for more.  If you have a SVT Cobra and would like to know more about this car, please contact us through the email link below.
